I recently won a prize from Uniko ... you all probably own tons of Bev's beautiful products - me? Not one! But I have driven 2.5 hours to borrow a set ... you've heard that story, I'm sure.
The Gerbera set has been on my wish-list for years! Guess what? I was lucky twice, because it's often out of stock! It seemed the right time to use it ... thank you darling Bev!
Inside:
yes. she loves you! Our life together, should be celebrated daily!
I chose to do another bit of heat embossed stamping on my card base, as I had done on my 1st card - repeating the phrase "celebrate life" - a play on Time Out's inspiring words.
The team and I hope we have inspired you with our cards, and words ... see you in the gallery!
Thank you to Time Out for the prize, the pleasure of playing cards with your team! and to you all ... thanks so much for spending a few moments with me today!

I really love how you do that background embossing, it gives a lovely texture. Not sure I would have the patience! And so pleased you got Bev’s set in time. Gorgeous use of the colour and love the soft falling leaves. It has been a delight having you as GD x

ReplyDeleteHi Michele... I have had a couple of crazy weeks, and I never got around to visiting DT blogs for the second week of our Time Out inspired by words challenge. Your work always slays me, but this card was especially gorgeous. How I love those Gerbera images (I have wanted that set forever too) and I love that you colored them green with gray stem and petals. The embossing in the background is wonderful and I love that you set it on an angle. Your inside sentiment is fantastic. I may have to steal that one. Thanks so much always for your inspiration and for joining us again at Time Out!
